The New York State Education Department compiled a list of schools that self-identified as community schools on their 2023/24 BEDS report forms. That list can be found here, and a map of those schools can be viewed above.
New York City has one of the nation's largest community schools initiatives with more than 400 community schools. The list of community schools in New York City is available here. More information can be found here.
Each month, the NYS Community Schools Technical Assistance Centers provide a highlight of a community school in action. Highlights from 2023 include:
